This position is the primary point of contact on the Finance Team to support the Engineering departments. Key responsibilities include setting and maintaining standard costs for multiple product lines; estimating product costs for new and existing products; investigating month-to-month variance in costs – standard vs current costs; reporting KPIs related to product costs and inventory; analyzing material and LOH variances; supporting cost reduction initiatives and annual forecasts/AOP. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitor, analyze and report out on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to engineering department activities. Support engineering projects and cost reduction efforts. Collaborate with the engineering team to assess spending requirements to support the business needs and assist with the review and approval process for both OpEx and CapEx spending requests.
