Additionally, establish and maintain SOPs to guide the electrical and instrumentation part in their tasks and responsibilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. Collaborate with power suppliers, such as Georgia Power, to optimize electrical resources. Collaborate with equipment sub-vendor, ensuring a strong understanding of PLC logic and facilitating necessary discussions with vendors for PLC and operational logic changes.Maintain thorough records of equipment status and maintenance activities to support the efficient and reliable operation of solar panel manufacturing processes.Until end of 2024, work within Infrastructure team. Oversee and manage all electrical aspects of the construction site. Be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of electrical projects, compliance with safety regulations, and effective management of the electrical team in Cell & Utility building. This role demands excellent leadership, problem-solving abilities, and a thorough understanding of electrical systems and construction processes.II. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES•Supervise Electrical/Instrumentation part Technician, ensuring efficient work order assignments, meeting deadlines, and conducting training functions.•Manage Electrical part of technicians and maintenance personnel responsible for the upkeep, repair, and preventive maintenance of Electrical and Instrumentation equipment and infrastructure.•Supervise and conduct day-to-day/routine preventative maintenance tasks, with a strong emphasis on the electrical engineering aspects:•Supervise, Conduct day-to-day/routine preventative maintenance tasks to,1. Electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and emergency power systems.2. Instrumentation systems, covering utility process instruments, measurement devices for control, and monitoring systems for utility facilities.3. Utility Facility electrical and instrumentation, such as process water systems (UPW, PCW, CHW, CW), compressed air (CDA), exhaust blowers, HVAC systems, and gas chemical system and other systems.4. Ensure technicians perform preventive maintenance on-site and execute routine tasks to maintain equipment efficiency.5. Ensure cleanliness of electrical and instrumentation equipment components.6. Disassemble electrical and instrumentation equipment, removing parts for replacement or repair using chain falls, hand tools, and jacks.7. Examine and address broken electrical and instrumentation parts, identifying defective components or providing repair recommendations to supervisors.8. Replace, fix, or realign electrical and instrumentation parts and accessories in line with production specifications.9. Apply adhesives, lubricants, or other materials to electrical machines or their parts, following SOP.10. Reassemble electrical and instrumentation parts after completing maintenance and repair work.•Ensure uptime and quality in manufacturing. Identify tasks and improvements to increase equipment-operating efficiency.•Conduct regular inspections and assessments to identify potential issues and proactively address them, ensuring clear communication with the diverse language skills within the team.•Compile and maintain records for all facilities equipment status, maintenance activities, and schedule testing, including on fire suppression systems.•Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in all electrical maintenance activities, with a focus on effective communication.•Develop and maintain SOPs for electrical maintenance tasks, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.•Conduct negotiations and collaborate with power suppliers, such as Georgia Power, to optimize electrical resources and ensure a stable power supply.•Collaborate with the Measurement and Control team, ensuring a strong understanding of PLC logic and facilitating necessary discussions with vendors for PLC and operational logic changes.•Deliver training and maintain the training record of Facility Technicians on facility maintenance tasks.•Collaborate with the Facility Operation Supervisor to prioritize maintenance tasks and minimize disruptions to production.•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into overall facility operations, facilitating clear communication.•Respond to plant emergencies related to environmental failures, fires, or security issues, with a focus on immediate response to power failures, logic errors, and other critical situations.•Ensure a 24/7 on-call response capability for emergency situations and coordinate with relevant teams for swift resolution.•Comply with environmental, health, and safety regulations of Hanwha QCELLS.•Able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including operations personnel, supervisors, engineering and management staff, state and local inspectors, and outside contractors.•All other duties as assigned by management.•Regularly report to Sr. Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer on work progress and issues.•Plan, schedule, and supervise all electrical activities on the construction site.1. Review project schedules to ensure timely completion of electrical work.2. Supervise the installation of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standards.3. Diagnose and resolve electrical issues that arise during construction.•Serve as the primary point of contact for all electrical-related inquiries and issues on the construction site. 1. JOB QUALIFICATIONS•Associate degree in electrical/Instrumentation Engineering.
