Key Responsibilities:
1. Engage in the design and development of diverse electrical systems, including:
- Motors
- Controllers
- Switches and relays
- Wire harnesses
- Electronic displays
- Lighting systems
2. Assist in the creation and documentation of vehicle electrical frameworks, including:
- Service manuals
- Parts catalogs
3. Evaluate existing supplier circuit designs to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness, aiming to:
- Mitigate potential quality concerns
- Identify opportunities for cost savings
4. Review and formulate functional specifications and engineering design standards.
5. Conduct Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) and develop testing and analysis plans for product validation.
6. Perform tolerance assessments on components and assemblies, producing detailed engineering drawings.
7. Address testing challenges and document resolutions using the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) methodology.
8. Oversee component and system-level validation testing, generating comprehensive testing and certification reports.
9. Participate in cross-functional design reviews and conduct assessments for Design for Assembly (DFA) and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) on components and assemblies.
10. Collaborate with external suppliers to foster the development of new technologies and cost-reduction strategies for electrical and electronic systems.
11. Propose innovative ideas, products, and features that enhance customer satisfaction, reduce costs, and maintain industry leadership.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
Experience:
- 0-2 years of relevant experience is required.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in UG/CAD/Teamcenter, Matlab, XFMEA, and Microsoft Office applications.
