Ensure the product is designed with security in mind from the beginning of the development lifecycle

Design, implement and maintain the systems that ensure enterprise grade security

Develop and improve reliability related processes such as incident response, RCAs, and remediation

Understand data on security and leverage that information to inform prioritization

Drive prioritization and scoping of our technical roadmap as it relates to security

Mentor other engineers

Interact directly with customers on product feedback and issues

Familiarity with our tech stack: Kubernetes, Golang, Postgres, Redis, GraphQL, TypeScript, and React

Our ideal candidate

7+ years of experience in a product security engineering role

Strong coding skills in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, or Go

Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes

Experience in early stage startups

Track record of leading complex technical initiatives to completion (6+ month project time frame, involving multiple engineers and stakeholders)

Experience building developer tooling and infrastructure at scale

Support corporate IT and security efforts as needed
