Key Responsibilities
  • Develop tools for deploying our cybersecurity product suite within a regulated environment (AWS GovCloud).
  • Collaborate closely with a specialized team of infrastructure and product engineers to implement change and release management processes.
  • Create observability frameworks and integrations, establish and monitor SLAs/SLOs for essential systems, and proactively manage deviations by triggering alerts as needed.
QualificationsEssential
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, focusing on the reliability of shared services.
  • Proficiency in container orchestration, particularly with Kubernetes and Helm.
  • Experience in developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules and automation, preferably using Terraform.
  • Familiarity with public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana), and incident management systems (PagerDuty, Sentry, Slack integration).
Preferred
  • Experience in environments designed to comply with Federal regulations such as FedRAMP and DoD SRG.
  • Experience in constructing and managing infrastructure within AWS GovCloud.

At Abnormal Security, we recognize the importance of a comprehensive compensation package, which may include bonuses, restricted stock units (RSUs), and a variety of benefits. Individual compensation will be tailored based on unique factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications. Base salary range: $147,000—$173,000 USD
