**Job Description**

The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) is responsible for maintaining the primary relationship with our dealer partners and for growing sales and market share in their assigned geographic footprint. The TSM is directly responsible for instilling the brand image and delivering the brand message to the dealer accounts. They are accountable for meeting sales objectives, profitability, setting and tracking dealers goals, maintaining the showroom and/or selling tools. The TSM acts as a trusted business advisor and guides dealers in activities that contribute to mutual growth, profitability and an enhanced consumer experience.

The ideal candidate thrives in an ambiguous environment where they must develop, implement and iterate data, processes, mechanisms and guardrails to improve the customer experience. Further, the ideal candidate is a business owner who understands the key levers to drive business growth and can operationalize those levers across their team. They have a passion for people leadership and are at their best when theyre building, developing and managing high-performing teams.

***Duties/Responsibilities:***

* Manage sales management staff and provide direction regarding resources and sales strategies, establishing territories, quotas, and training. Coordinate sales distribution of products or services to facilitate the sales process.

* Manage the sales generation in districts and major accounts within a large geographical area for one or more of the company's product lines.

* Develop, forecast, and monitor budget and utilize operational resources. Manage the sales generation in districts and major accounts within a large geographical areas.

* Provide the resources and framework necessary to empower his teams and achieve the sales objectives within their scope.

* Captures, analyzes, and translates the needs of the customer/dealer/Installer into Sales

* Accompanies its employees in their mission and development.

* Ensures that operational results are achieved at the right level of efficiency.

* Engages its teams in cross-functionality and cooperation.

* Contributes to the continuous improvement of processes.

* Supports and represents their teams internally and externally

**Qualifications**

***Education and Experience:***

* Bachelors degree in Business or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.

* 7+ years of above-quota sales experience, preferably as a Regional Sales Executive/Manager selling in complex and technical industries.

* Minimum of 3 years of business-to-business sales experience.

* Window treatment industry experience and product knowledge is a plus but not mandatory.

* A valid drivers license and auto insurance is required.

* Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, both internally and externally. Ability to engage with a variety of technical and business leaders.

* Superb organizational and reporting skills

* Experience with growing the sales enablement function to support sales in a rapidly evolving and competitive marketplace

* "Whatever it takes" attitude and motivation to deliver above quota performance
