YOUR ROLE
As our Outside Sales Representative, you must have sales experience, a strong work ethic, and live within the territory. This is a commission-based independent contractor position within an established sales territory. Your responsibilities will include:
- Sale to current and new brand appropriate retail partners.
- Identify new target accounts that are appropriate for the brand and gives the company incremental sales opportunities.
- Attend trade shows as necessary to execute sales plan. Make appointments with current and new accounts in territory at national and regional trade shows.
- Develop stretch yet obtainable budget for territory in coordination with management team.
- Work closely with marketing department on various trade initiatives with accounts.
- Give feedback to product team on specific customer needs and product trends in territory.
- Build and cultivate long-lasting relationships with both existing and potential retail partners.
- Provide strong support to retailers: product training, merchandising, clinics, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in apparel outside sales
- Action Sports and/or Country Club Sports, experience, preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and NuOrder
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Deadline and results driven with a strong sense of urgency.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills and ability to develop relationships.
