As a Content Strategist, you will be responsible for implementing content strategies, managing content production across various platforms, and overseeing a content team of writers and editors. Your areas of responsibility will include: Manage all content production, ensuring high-quality deliverables are completed on time. Manage a team of writers and editors. This includes providing feedback to contractors; sourcing/training new contractors; and aligning contractor resourcing with current and upcoming content needs. QA content outlines to meet SEO requirements (we provide robust training) and align with the audience's needs and the client's product/service offering. Conduct client interviews (CEOs and SMEs) to inform mid- and bottom-funnel content. Be proactive in identifying blockers that impact timeliness of client deliverables or block upcoming steps in the content process. Complete research, content outlines, and/or copywriting for important or urgent client pieces that can't be assigned to contractors. Participate in client/team meetings as a subject matter expert on client content deliverables and needs. Assist in creating, updating, and maintaining tasks within Asana (our project management software). Create client style guides. Keep client content calendars up-to-date and document status changes for content as it progresses through the content production pipeline. This role is primarily located in Atlanta, GA, with the flexibility to work remotely as needed. Qualifications US-based, American English speaker with native fluency 3-5 years of professional experience in writing/editing 1-3 years of experience in search engine optimization Strong time management skills: You will not be micro-managed here. Must have incredible attention to detail (ex: ability to spot inconsistent use of periods in bullet points, or consistent phrasing in a formatted template). Excellent writing skills and ability to create compelling and engaging content Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Must have incredible attention to detail (ex: ability to spot inconsistent use of periods in bullet points, or consistent phrasing in a formatted template). Confidence in developing a complete, thoughtful, intentional outline for your writing, then writing compelling copy based on that outline Excellence in grammar, punctuation, consistency of style, etc. 99% of the time, your writing should be ready to publish as-is. Bonus Points Familiarity with Ahrefs, Semrush, Clearscope, Asana, Google Suite Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, or related field Experience working with B2B SaaS companies Experience working in a content or SEO agency Experience using ChatGPT or similar AI tools to assist in the editorial process
