About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Content Designer to join our Design Systems team at Rose International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality content that enhances the user experience across our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and write clear, compelling language for product flows, interface language, education materials, product names, navigational nomenclature, terminology, taxonomies, and other content across our products and experiences.
  • Partner with product designers to develop new components and patterns for our system.
  • Create or contribute to high-fidelity design mocks using Figma.
  • Work in Figma to provide Accessibility Specs for design system components and patterns.
  • Develop and maintain content design standards and guidelines for our design system.
  • Apply systems thinking to the product, whether it's defining extensible design system guidance, conducting audits of existing experiences, or creating information architecture.
  • Collaborate daily with peers across disciplines, including engineering, design, research, marketing, and data science, to take products from conception to launch.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience as a content designer, UX writer, or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Figma.
  • Experience working with design systems, including work on components, patterns, or foundations.
  • Experience developing content design standards and guidelines.
  • Experience with taxonomies and terminology.
  • Examples of finished wireframes or design mocks co-authored using design tools that have been used to drive decision-making within a team.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and practices.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers, and product managers.
Compelling Story & Candidate Value Proposition

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to shape the foundational look and feel of our products through the design system. You will also be building the lego blocks that the rest of the company uses to build apps. Our team is most technical content design team at Rose International for technical design skills.

Typical Day in the Role

A typical day in this role will involve building design system components and patterns, working alongside product designers and production designers to optimize the design system library, documentation, and taxonomy. You will also have the opportunity to work hands-on with advanced Figma tools.
