Amotec is actively seeking candidates for a Human Resource Director opportunity. Located near Minneapolis, MN (south metro area) our client is poised for substantial growth with opportunities for advancement within this global industry leader. The HRD will be a hands-on, interactive professional who will develop and execute practices and processes across all areas while providing an employee-oriented, high performance culture. This individual must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently while managing a team. Our client offers a competitive base salary along with bonus, medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Responsibilities:

  • strategic support to the management staff leveraging HR policies, practices, and procedures
  • day-to-day support to the manufacturing facility for all employee human resources and safety matters
  • programs to help retain employees and drive positive employee engagement within the facility
  • using a team approach to problem solving
  • a strong sense of urgency and able to meet deadlines
  • functional leadership to the HR department and management teams

The Ideal Candidate will have:

  • degree in Human Resources Management or related field. SHRM or HRCI certification strongly preferred
  • experience in a Human Resources or related role in a manufacturing environment
  • leading people and obtaining results through others, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • experience leading teams and managing results through direct reports, co-workers, and team members
