**Job Description**

**Scope of Position**

To handle the incoming and outgoing freight that passes over our dock.

**Major Duties and Responsibilities**

Driver Check In

Greet all truck drivers delivering and picking up freight

Ensure all drivers check in and have proper clearance before entering warehouse

Check in AXP, DCS, OXP freight and assign or link Expeditors On-hand numbers

Follow notification procedure for possible threats or suspicious activity

Follow driver validation procedures

Visits are closed out

On-handing Cargo

Record dimensions, and weight of cargo on on-hand sheet

ETMS knowledge/running the on-handing script

Enter on-hand data correctly and timely

Scan documents into EDOC properly and timely per Air Lateral requirements

Picking and Loading of Air Cargo Freight

Monitor the processing of HAWBs and collect sheets as they accumulate

Warehouse automation script is used to identify cargo location and corresponding cargo

Lift equipment is used safely to assemble cargo into receiving positions and operator damage is mitigated

Consolidate parcel shipments as required

Labeling and Shipping of Air Freight

Ensure Expeditors destination labels match shipping label to prevent misroutes

Use automation script to ensure shipping accuracy

Warehouse cargo manifests checked, paperwork signed, and trailers sealed

Warehouse housekeeping (trash removal, work stations neat and orderly, floors swept)

**Qualifications**

**Experience and Education**

High School or equivalent

History of excellent attendance practices

Screening certification within 6 months of employment

Dangerous Goods Certification within 1 year of employment
