Description
Performs a variety of administrative and operational duties to meet the needs of members' at all recreational facilities.
Supervision Received: Works under the supervision of Assistant Facility Supervisors and Facility Supervisors.
Examples of Duties: The following examples of duties are intended to be illustrative only and are not intended to be all inclusive.
- Provides excellent customer service by offering accurate information in a friendly, positive manner.
- Monitors and checks-in members entering the facilities.
- Answers incoming telephone calls as required.
- Provides equipment checkout, upkeep, and accountability.
- Assists with basic transactions for Member Services, including cash handling.
- Cleans, disinfects and documents cardio and weight equipment breakdowns.
- Performs light janitorial and landscaping duties.
- Sets up room and programs (volleyball, basketball, etc.) as requested.
- Assists management with training and development of new staff.
- Participates in the mission of the organization of "Enhancing property values and creating quality of life through recreation, community events, and leadership."
- Performs other duties as assigned and required.
Physical and Environmental Standards: Most work is performed indoors in a busy facility where noise and interruptions prevail. Work could also be performed outdoors in different types of conditions including, but not limited to, heat, wind, cold, rain and snow. Must be able to frequently sit, walk, stand, climb, bend, kneel, stoop, reach and lift, push or pull. Must be able to stand/ walk/ rove for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours per shift. Manual dexterity is needed to type, write, and answer the phone. The ability to talk and hear via the telephone and through face to face communication is needed. Vision requirements include near and far acuity. Upper body strength is a requisite to lift/ remove a maximum of 10 pounds unassisted and 50 pounds with assistance.
Qualifications
Ability to understand and help enforce Highlands Ranch Community Association, Inc. guidelines. Ability to provide exceptional customer service both internally and externally. Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with members and co-workers. Ability to check equipment in/out and help with facility functions and programs. Ability to reason, problem solve, and resolve minor conflicts among members. Ability to perform basic computer and clerical skills. Ability to properly lift light weight objects (10 lbs). Must be flexible to work at all facilities on all shifts. Must be available to work holidays. Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
Must pass a Drug Screen and Background check.

Education: Completion of one year of high school is preferred.
Experience: Previous customer service experience and basic computer skills are a plus.
