Role Summary
Denco Family, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Guest Services Representative to join our team in Littleton, CO. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, guiding them through their stay from check-in to check-out. The ideal candidate will ensure that guests have a seamless experience by managing reservations, accommodating requests, and providing information about the hotel’s offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage guest registrations and room assignments, ensuring special requests are met whenever feasible.
2. Assist with pre-registration and room blocking for upcoming reservations.
3. Adhere to established policies regarding credit, cash handling, and check-cashing procedures.
4. Maintain awareness of room status and track updates effectively.
5. Familiarize yourself with room types, locations, and pricing to assist guests accurately.
6. Utilize suggestive selling techniques to promote room bookings and additional hotel services.
7. Collaborate with housekeeping to ensure timely updates on room status, including check-outs and special requests.
8. Possess a thorough understanding of the reservations process, including cancellation policies.
9. Organize and file room keys efficiently.
10. Operate front office equipment competently.
11. Facilitate guest check-outs and process all charges accurately.
12. Follow procedures for managing safe deposit boxes.
13. Exhibit professional telephone etiquette.
14. Handle mail, packages, and messages in accordance with established protocols.
15. Stay informed about daily activities and meetings within the hotel by reviewing logs and bulletin boards.
16. Participate in departmental meetings to enhance team communication.
17. Coordinate maintenance requests for guest rooms with the engineering team.
18. Report any unusual occurrences or guest requests to management.
19. Understand and implement safety and emergency procedures, ensuring a secure environment for guests and staff.
20. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
21. Be adaptable to shift changes as business needs arise.
22. Process reservations in accordance with company policy.
23. Perform laundry duties as required by brand standards.
24. Undertake additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
25. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and brand standards.
