YOUR ROLE AS OUR FINANCE SPECIALIST - ACCOUNTANT

In this position as our Finance Specialist - Accountant, you play a critical role in the overall financial success of our company. Working closely with our controller, you carry out a variety of essential tasks that ensure our company remains on a profitable track. You oversee vital functions such as payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and month-end reconciliations.

Prioritizing accuracy, you process journal entries, review bank transactions, oversee cash applications, and manage check deposits. As a key member of your office team, you perform special projects as assigned to support our financial department. You report weekly labor key performance indicators (KPIs) as well as respond to emails and phone calls. You take pride in being a number-crunching master who contributes greatly to our company's success

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE OUR FINANCE SPECIALIST - ACCOUNTANT

Here's what we're looking for from this position:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • 1+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and business applications
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
  • Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
  • Must have the ability to lift and carry parcels, packages, and other items, walk short distances, and drive a vehicle.
  • This is largely a stationary role but does require walking, standing, lifting, bending, grasping, etc.
