We are seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist to join our team As a Receptionist, you will be responsible for greeting clients, answering phone calls and emails, scheduling appointments, ordering office supplies, and performing general administrative support.

In this role, you will:

  • Respond to HUD Section 8 rental assistance program inquiries, landlord/tenant and other social service agency questions
  • Process all incoming mail and distribute to appropriate specialist
  • Update system information on continual basis
  • Assist caseworkers by preparing Request for Tenancy Approval forms, leases and other paperwork, and pulling the appropriate letters
  • Assist public in completing pre-applications and scheduling appointments when necessary
  • Be responsible for tacking all damage and unreported income claims
  • Assist with processing payments
Requirements:
  • Two years’ experience with word processing programs
  • Ability to type 65 wpm
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two years’ administrative/clerical experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a close team environment to achieve department goals and perform all necessary job requisites
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Must be knowledgeable in spelling, punctuation, usage composition, and appropriate office procedures and office equipment
