The Quality Engineer will lead teams to investigate the root cause of customer escapes and non-conformances and determine appropriate corrective/preventive actions. Key Responsibilities: • Lead teams to investigate the root cause of customer escapes and non-conformances and determine appropriate corrective/preventive actions. • Assess and disposition customer non-conformances. • Review and approve First Article inspections. Perform product, process and work instruction audits • Interface with various Engineering groups and Customer Support to resolve technical/quality issues related to engine manual repairs and other approved technical data • Assist with Escape investigations within Business Units. Actively participate on plant wide team Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree and 2 or more years’ experience in an engineering, manufacturing, operations management, program/project management, quality or closely related industrial environment, or an Associate’s degree and 4 or more years’ experience in an engineering, manufacturing, operations management, program/project management, quality or closely related industrial environment. • In lieu of a degree, 4 or more years’ experience in an engineering, manufacturing, operations management, program/project management, quality or closely related industrial environment Preferred Qualifications: • Demonstrated effective root cause determination skills (8D, Fault Tree, etc.) • Ability to obtain, organize and analyze quality data • Excellent computer skills • Manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously
