Position Summary: The Engine Surveillance Inspector plays a pivotal role in adhering to manufacturer specifications and industry protocols while performing inspections on civil aviation engines. This position is essential for ensuring compliance with airworthiness directives and maintaining superior quality benchmarks in jet engine servicing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute preliminary hidden damage assessments, in-process evaluations, and final inspections on civil aviation engines.
  • Conduct borescope inspections and oversee engine receiving and inventory management.
  • Evaluate engine modules, troubleshoot issues, repair components, and ensure calibration of tools.
  • Comply with all FAA regulations and maintain comprehensive inspection records.

Required Qualifications:

  • Possession of FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in jet engine maintenance and inspection is required.
  • Ability to read and interpret OEM manuals and technical documentation proficiently.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and capability to work autonomously.
