This role is crucial in conducting preliminary hidden damage assessments, in-process evaluations, and final inspections on civil aviation components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Become well-versed in the inspection techniques, tools, and equipment relevant to the assigned duties.
  • Maintain proficiency in utilizing inspection aids and ensure they are calibrated and functioning correctly.
  • Verify that all inspection tools are operational and adhere to the required calibration standards.
  • Understand and apply the current specifications for inspection tolerances and procedures as dictated by the manufacturer.
  • Document all inspections accurately and ensure records are completed prior to the approval for service return.
  • Effectively replace any defective components to restore functionality.
  • Execute scripted repair protocols to test and validate parts or products.
  • Provide assistance to Repair Technicians, Engineers, and Technical Services as necessary.
  • Adhere to inventory management practices consistently.
  • Interpret and follow OEM manuals and routing instructions.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with CFM56 engines is essential.
  • A valid Powerplant License is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting and repair processes is preferred.
  • Proficient in the use of hand and pneumatic tools.
  • Ability to identify failures and perform rework on parts and assemblies.
  • Commitment to maintaining company quality standards.
  • Capability to follow established testing and repair procedures.
  • Willingness to learn and execute basic repair tasks.
  • Ability to read and comprehend OEM manuals and routing documents.
  • Proficiency in English is required for business communication.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Quantum aviation software.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.

Required Skills and Certifications:

  • Powerplant License
  • CFM56 Experience

Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with CFM56 engines and hold a valid Powerplant License.
