As the Senior Analyst, Supply Chain Systems, you will support the information systems component of the organization. What you’ll do on a typical day: Write specifications for new developments and system enhancements Assist the project manager on system implementations and upgrades, and provide ongoing support Research client requirements, determine fit and customizations, develop proposals and supporting data for cost estimates, and present GXO capabilities and solutions to client prospects Support implementations by developing documented implementation plans, configuring systems, training users and providing post-implementation support Develop detailed functional specifications for modifications, defect corrections, enhancements and user documentation Perform process and data modeling Conduct integrated quality assurance testing on system changes before they are released to key users What you need to succeed at GXO: At a minimum, you’ll need: Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience 2 years of experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) development and implementation Implementation and support experience with web-based applications, WMS, Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and small parcel shipment systems Expertise and experience in at least one of the following business disciplines: supply chain management, warehousing, transportation or distribution Experience using SQL for data analysis, extraction, troubleshooting and reporting Thorough understanding of current information systems technologies such as client/server, relational databases, web-based systems, and object-oriented design Understanding of current information systems technologies such as client/server, relational databases, web-based systems and object-oriented designs We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
