This position will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, provide general administrative support for AVCOG staff, and assist in administering small business loan programs. Office Administration Provide direction to visitors and clients Answer phone calls and direct to appropriate resource Process incoming and outgoing mail Maintain office equipment and supplies Coordinate meetings, prepare meeting material and minutes, maintain conference room Other support as requested Loan & Grant Administration Assist borrowers or grantees with applications and requests for assistance Review loan files for completeness Assist with loan closing documents and preparation for loan closings Provide support for regional grant programs including marketing outreach and receipt of required documents Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting Coordinate with loan officer to contact delinquent borrowers and distribute notices Maintain a system for tracking of client documentation (e.g. financial statements, UCC filings and insurance renewals) Other support as requested Qualifications Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Office 365 programs Attention to detail Time management skills Ability to work independently and within a team environment Excellent customer service skills and ability to assist individuals of all backgrounds High School Diploma with at least 2-3 years of relevant experience; experience with loan processing preferred This full-time position offers a competitive starting hourly rate ($19.23 - $21.63, based on experience) and excellent benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurances; HSA with company contribution; HRA with deductible reimbursement; life and voluntary disability insurances; medical and dependent care flexible spending; Maine Public Employees Retirement System (MPERS); paid vacation and sick leave; 13 paid holidays; and 37 ½ hour workweek. This is an in-person position located in AVCOG’s Auburn office.
