Support the project planning process including initiation, design, engineering, material procurement, and construction, commissioning.
Lead project documentation, Project Change Requests, risk analysis, purchase orders, and closing activities.
Support project implementation including project budget and the project resources including external vendors and contractors.
Support project team and the project management process.
Responsible for metrics tracking, associated reporting to stakeholders, and compliance with regulatory, corporate and business function procedures during all the phases of the project.
Assist in development of, or revision to, function-specific project management policies, procedures, and implementation.
Knowledge & Skills
Knowledge and experience with project management processes and tools desired.
Excellent organizational skills required.
Ability to work effectively with competing priorities and stressful situations required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Wish to learn a new industry if current experience is not in utilities/power.
