JOB SUMMARY:
Under general supervision of the FP&A Manager, the Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst (FPAA) serves as the technical support for the budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes. FPAA primarily supports with duties including but not limited to ensuring accuracy of data within all applicable systems, assisting with forecasting and budgeting, variance analysis, and routine and ad hoc reporting, and providing general finance support to Home Office Departments. Also assists with various reporting, FP&A platform projects, and other special projects as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the Finance & Accounting teams to ensure timely and accurate month-end close, including regular auditing of financial transactions and facilitation of corrections.
Support in the development of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts as required to ensure alignment with organizational strategy and established goals.
Prepare monthly variance analysis and fiscal forecasts for assigned Home Office Departments and regional support as needed.
Coordinate and conduct monthly meetings with assigned home Office department managers to review budget reports and related analyses.
Generate other operational reports as needed.
Assist in the development of new reports and analysis.
Collaborate with FP&A team to share best practices, discuss challenges, and ensure efficient operations.
Prepare and/or facilitate quarterly/annual agency fiscal grant reporting, as applicable.
Provide support for fiscal management training to department leadership as needed.
Assist in the collection and organization of documentation to support annual audit.
Act as point of contact/support for all Finance & Accounting needs within assigned Home Office Departments, to address questions/issues related to internal policies/procedures, AP, AR, credit cards, payroll, and other day-to-day operations.
Assist FP&A Manager with the development and maintenance of reports and dashboards.
Assist with training and support regional Finance & Reporting Analysts.
Assist with other special projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
1-2 years relevant business experience.
High school diploma required.
Experience with non-profit, education, and/or grant compliance is preferred.
Ability to thrive in an evolving and dynamic work environment.
Ability to develop and foster positive relationships at all levels.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
Self-starter who possesses initiative, sweats the details, and knows when to ask questions.
Excellent time management skills to complete broad range of tasks in a deadline-driven environment
Motivation to seek opportunities to improve operational results, identify and resolve problems.
Superb follow through and organizational skills to manage broad scope job responsibilities.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

COMPENSATION:

Hourly Range $28.85-$33.65

This is the targeted compensation for the position. A range of factors, including but not limited to; location, skills, experience, will be considered. Actual compensation may vary.
