We are currently looking for a Full Time Customer Service Desk Associate to work in a fast-paced retail environment who is available to work flexible shifts: weekdays, evenings, and weekends. This position requires interacting with customers and managing all transactions efficiently and accurately while working with our computerized system. What will you do: Process customer transactions, sales, and refunds through cash registers Operate scanners and credit card/debit card terminals Collect payments and bag purchases for customers Keep the checkout area clean and orderly Maintain front end department merchandise Answer front desk phone and directing calls Assist other departments and functions as required Learn and operate the applicable computer system (D365) used to process orders Assist in the Office as needed, Follow proper procedures and can train others (Cashiers, Gatehouse and new Customer Service Associates) Communicate with customers, vendors, head office accounting and associates to ensure paperwork is processed on time. Other Office duties as assigned. What you will bring: Strong mathematical skills and basic computer system knowledge Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Customer satisfaction-oriented Strong communication and time management skills Problem-solving and decision-making Experience as a Retail Cashier is an asset Ability to handle moderate physical demands: standing for 4 hours, lift medium-size merchandise if required up to 50 lbs.
