As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be working closely with the controller and will be trained intensively by them. Your responsibilities include a variety of accounting and clerical tasks related to the maintenance and processing of payable account records and invoices. You will be handling tasks such as processing daily Accounts Payable statements/reports, receiving and verifying invoices and requisitions for goods and services, managing weekly checks, preparing vendor checks, maintaining confidential employee and business files, and providing courteous customer service to visitors, clients, and vendors. You will also serve as a backup to the receptionist.
