Responsibilities: • Financial Reporting: develop, improve and issue timely monthly financial statements & reports for senior management team • Financial Close Cycle: manage the financial close cycle • Accounts Payable: manage the accounts payable team & transactions; assist with relationship management of the supply base • Accounts Receivable: working with the operations team, ensure timely AR invoicing and collections • Treasury: manage and monitor cash flow, provide routine reporting on daily and monthly cashflow • Auditing & Controls: maintain relationship with auditors, support the annual FS audit, and reconcile the company’s balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis; implement financial and compliance policies • Relationship Management: work closely with the senior management team & 3rd party professionals (CPAs, Bank) • Budgeting & Forecasting: provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets and financial reports • Supervising: oversee the accounting team; train, motivate, develop and coach the accounting team • Program Control: working closely with the VPs, manage the finances of the Ford, Tier & Defense programs; assist and manage the CTC process • Record Keeping: maintain financial and accounting records, including monthly financial records related to cash management, AR, AP and project accounting• Expert knowledge of US GAAP & manufacturing accounting • Strong decision-making skills • Strong ethics and high discretion • Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments with a high degree of autonomy and accountability • Ability to lead change and resolve conflicts • Effective communication and interpersonal skills required • Extremely IT savvy; advanced ERP & PC skills, advanced Microsoft Excel abilities • Can do attitude • Prior leadership experience; + 5 years of supervising / managing employees preferred. • +7 years of accounting and finance experience; project accounting experience a plus • BA or MBA in Finance, or Accounting preferred • CFA, CPA, or CMA preferred • Understanding of ASC 606 a MUST • Ability to calculate percentage (%) of completion a MUST
