Accounting Bookkeeper

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at Amy Cell LLC. As a key member of our financial team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, as well as providing financial analysis and reporting to support business decisions.

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Manage grants to support clinic operations and programs, including developing grant budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring compliance with grant requirements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software, process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, and reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
• Prepare and submit payroll, assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts, and monitor budget performance and provide analysis of variances.
• Collaborate with department heads to ensure budgetary compliance and accuracy, track expenditures, and identify opportunities for improvements.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred) or equivalent experience.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of experience in finance, grant management, bookkeeping, and budgeting, preferably in a healthcare or nonprofit organization.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of nonprofit accounting principles, grant regulations, budget management, and audit preparation.
• Ethical and trustworthy with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
