Position: Business Operations Director

Our Future Learning Center, a leading chain of childcare and daycare centers, is renowned for providing exceptional care and educational experiences. We are seeking a Business Operations Director to play a crucial role in our operational success and growth.

Job Summary:

The Business Operations Director, will work directly under the guidance of the owner and CEO. This role is ideal for someone who is adept at advancing key projects and providing support in areas where the CEO may not be able to lead or manage directly.

Key Responsibilities:
Act as the CEO's right hand, managing and executing critical operational projects.
Lead and manage projects in the CEOs absence or when direct involvement is not possible.
Collaborate with the CEO to identify and implement strategic operational priorities.
Negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring strong relationships with vendors and contractors.
Oversee significant operational improvements, ensuring school efficiency and effectiveness.
Facilitate communication between the CEO and our schools for smooth execution of plans.
Oversight of Analytical Dashboards: Responsible for the management and oversight of existing analytical dashboards, encompassing areas such as school performance, budgets, and audits. Ensures the integrity and accuracy of data, and stays abreast of all key metrics and indicators.
Development and Strategic Utilization of Dashboards: Tasked with developing new dashboards as needed. Analyzes and interprets data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas requiring intervention.
Translates insights from dashboards into actionable projects and leads the implementation of these initiatives to drive operational excellence.
Travel between our schools is required. Your workspace will be at one of our Boston schools.

Qualifications:
Strong organizational and leadership skills, capable of handling multiple tasks and projects.
Experience in managing complex projects and leading operational improvements.
Experience in managing projects that require permitting, subcontractors, and gathering support from a diverse group of stakeholders.
Superior negotiation and vendor management skills.
Demonstrated experience in operations management or project management.
Required : A minimum of 2 years of experience in operations management, project management, or a similar role.
Preferred : An individual that has gone through a management training program at a Fortune 500 company.

Education:
Preferred : A degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
Alternatively, in absence of a formal degree, experience in project management or construction management may suffice (alongside strong organizational skills and being technologically savvy since we're a data driven organization).
