Qualifications

POSITION SUMMARY

This position reports to the Human Resources (HR) Manager and is responsible for status changes, leave management, benefit assistance and accurate information into the HRIS Systems. As well, the role will develop reports and provide HR information as requested.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Process status changes including: promotions, annual appraisals, employment type, characterization codes, wages, manager(s), time codes, position, team, division (unit), and pay group.
  2. Submit monthly reports as required on employment/Roster/termination, ACA payroll, ACA FT determined. Provide other Ad hoc reports; create and modify reports in HRIS.
  3. Enter new hires into HR/Payroll system.
  4. Ensure integrity and accuracy of systems data.
  5. Assist with creating position and supervisor codes in HRIS.
  6. Enter approved employment termination transactions in HRIS
  7. Assist with annual benefits open enrollment process.
  8. Assist with retirement plan administration activities as requested.
  9. Facilitate benefit information during weekly new hire orientation sessions.
  10. Prepare and mail out benefit enrollment forms/packages. Review completed forms for accuracy; set up new team members with elected benefits; and set up codes/payroll deduction amounts in ADP. Process finals and terminates benefits for separated team members.
  11. At direction of HR Manager, timely process Leaves of Absence (LOA) requests, including FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act) and coordinates with team members and managers, ensuring both are informed of rights and the process. Determine eligibility; coordinates with management members and payroll; and track related absences. Coordinates with ADA job accommodation and worker's comp as required.
  12. Responsible for providing excellent customer service by greeting, assisting, and responding to questions and/or concerns in a positive, professional, and friendly manner.
REQUIREMENTS
  1. High school diploma or equivalency diploma (GED); Associates or Bachelor's degree in business, HR or psychology desirable.
  2. 3 - 5 years' HRIS and HR records maintenance and report-writing experience.
  3. Intermediate skill level with MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and databases; proven experience with various HRIS required.
  4. Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.
  5. For positions that require driving, must maintain a valid driver's license and automobile insurance coverage, and be able to travel as needed if you drive your vehicle during company business.
