The Area Coordinator (AC) of the “Young People at High Schools Strengthen Women's Rights and Inclusive Governance in Bangladesh (YUKTA)” project is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing project activities in the assigned area to promote and protect gender equality, women’s rights, empowerment, and prevent gender-based violence. The AC will engage with Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) at various levels and coordinate policy dialogues between CSOs/HRDs and government agencies. Responsibilities include: Provide conceptual and strategic guidance to team members in consultation with the Program Coordinator Ensure effective and capable CSOs, HRDs, Student Forums, and theatre groups at the local level in proper implementation of project activities Train Young CSOs, HRDs, and Student Forums on Participatory Action Research, conflict-sensitive democratic dialogue, and the Rights to Information Act Coordinate monthly action plans and team meetings, and maintain communication with public authorities Visit CSOs and participate in policy dialogues in program districts Guide, coach, supervise, and manage program staff, including performance appraisal Support the collection of accurate data from the field and its analysis Ensure quality implementation of project activities at the field level Conduct periodic monitoring and prepare reports as per project requirements Organize public events and folk theatre in the jurisdiction Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor Compensation & Other Benefits T/A, Mobile bill, Weekly 2 holidays 2.25 festival bonus, PF, Gratuity, Leave Benefit, and Insurance as per policy.
