**Description**

* Answers incoming calls from and responds to customer requests, internal and external staff.

* Accurately and promptly enters orders/information in the CRT system and all other related programs.

* Relay results to all of our customers.

* Troubleshoot when results are not available.

* Properly fill out occurrence reports and submit them in a timely manner.

* Works efficiently within the team environment of the customer service department and contribute to team task accomplishment

* Maintains client and patient confidentiality/complies with HIPAA requirements as they apply to the position.

* Must be able to enter house calls in the system properly within the parameters of the operation (details will be given by the supervisor).

* Cross train in other departments.

* Adhere to all company regulations stated in the company had book.

* Must be aware of faxes coming through from our customers.

* Must be able to escalate any customer service questions that cannot be answered to Supervisor or in the absence of a supervisor to a Team Lead.

* Must be able to transfer calls accurately and efficiently according to our company extension list.

* Must keep constant professionalism and phone etiquette.

* Performs other tasks as assigned by the supervisor to support the goals of the company.

* Dress business casual during business hours

***OTHER RESONSIBILITIES***

* Attends all Call Center/Customer Service mandatory In-Services and coaching

* Provide peer coaching for new and existing employees

* Adaptable to changes in assignments and training

***SKILLS|EXPERIENCE***

* Preferably 2 years call center experience

* Preferably familiar with medical terminology

* Excellent oral, listening and written communication skills

* Basic knowledge of computer usage windows applications, e-mail, and internet

* Excellent computer keying skills required type a minimum of 35 wpm; Alpha and numeric data entry skills
