The Electronic Hardware Engineer II is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of electronic products hardware design. Create and maintain product documents. Evaluate and upgrade existing electronics hardware design. Create test protocols. Perform worst case and failure analysis. Create and execute engineering change orders. Generate engineering report. Guide the work of technicians. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement board level design, simulation, and optimization of front-end circuitry, schematics capture, PCB layout and component evaluation. Create hardware design description and block diagram as required. Use a combination of logic, experience, analysis and methodologies to make solid, timely decisions and solve problems. Including but not limited to worst case analysis and DFMEAs Plans and create effective test protocols to verify and validate engineering designs to product requirements Produce detailed engineering reports Produce component level test for new and existing products Design necessary verification firmware routine for peripheral function testes Process and execute ECNs Follow established document control procedures Work with internal and external resources on design optimization Support advance research Guide the work of technicians Other duties and responsibilities as required.
