Brown & Brown Insurnace is seeking an Employee Benefits Analyst to join their team in Brentwood, TN

Primarily responsible for the overall data analytics process for assigned clients. Employee Benefits Analyst will analyze and prepare a clients medical and pharmacy data to showcase the client's health plan performance, highlight areas of concern, and identify potential solutions to better the client. Prepares and presents analysis findings for both existing and prospective clients. Commonly resolves issues regarding data acquisition and accuracy. Works directly with Director of Analytics and Producer to ensure that all aspects of the analysis are handled efficiently, accurately, and professionally.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Attain client data timely through request or carrier website
  • Ensure data is properly stored including saving all data within the proper folders
  • Analyze data to ensure accuracy, including following up with carriers with questions regarding accuracy when necessary
  • Directly assist producers, account executives, and account managers with data related requests
  • Create/update reports for all clients that require reporting
  • Assist with creating and designing new templates
  • Identify issues within templates and assist in updating templates
  • Other duties and responsibilities include:
    • Creation of Ad Hoc reports
    • Creating presentations for producer meetings
    • Learning new claims systems
    • Assisting with Due Diligence data acquisition, analysis, and presentation
    • Support the marketing team with data backed solutions
  • Must be responsive to all emails. All emails should be responded to within 24 hours of receipt.
  • Ensure all applicable data is kept accurate and files maintained.
  • Encourage and motivate team members to achieve or exceed agency standards.
  • Promote teamwork and commitment to department/agency goals.
  • Follow Agency guidelines, policies and procedures.
  • Remain current on industry trends and information, new product development, legislation, coverage's and technology.
  • Meet requirements for licensing as directed by the branch/agency
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 3-5 years experience in a similar position preferred
  • Proficient with MS Office & Excel
  • Exceptional telephone demeanor
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
  • Tennessee Life and Health License (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
