About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at HCA Healthcare. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting divisional operations and clinical leadership on compensation-related analyses.
Key Responsibilities
- Support divisional operations and clinical leadership on compensation-related analyses.
- Understand and interpret pay policies and clinician contracts for purposes of compensation-related analyses.
- Interface with clinicians on pay questions and issues.
- Support resolution of compensation issues submitted to the MyPay service center.
- Analyze impact of pay rate changes or compensation plan changes.
- Work closely with physician service support teams on compensation projects.
- Prepare journal entries, projections, and account reconciliations as required to accurately report/forecast operational performance.
- Prepare monthly reports for corporate data submissions and compile information to evaluate performance in relation to benchmarks.
- Prepare detailed monthly actual to budget variance reports to support practice management.
- Assist in training of new/existing financial staff as needed.
- Assist practice management, as needed, with financial information requests and questions.
- Participate in development and detailed review of operation budgets and performance benchmarks.
- Ensure that all processing and reporting deadlines are consistently achieved.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics.
- Two years of progressive accounting or financial analyst experience.
- Healthcare experience preferred.
