Chargeback Analyst

IDR has a brand-new opening with our Financial Services client for a hybrid Chargeback Analyst opportunity. This role will research, initiate and respond to credit card chargebacks and retrieval requests. If you are looking to join a stable and growing team please apply today

Responsibilities of the Chargeback Analyst:

• Analyze documentation to determine chargeback eligibility.
• Collect and prepare additional documentation as needed.
• Process chargebacks and rebuttals, including issuing credits or debits.
• Communicate with internal teams and customers about case statuses.
• Report fraud and escalate processing issues as needed.

Requirements of the Chargeback Analyst:

• Experience with Reg E and Reg Z reason codes
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Basic understanding of bankcard association transactions processing and charge back rules
