Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Processing:

  • Accurately process bi-weekly or monthly payroll for all employees, including calculating wages, overtime, deductions, and tax withholdings.
  • Review and verify payroll data, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer payroll-related queries from employees.

Benefits Administration:

  • Administer employee benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, and other voluntary benefits.
  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and questions.
  • Coordinate annual benefits open enrollment and ensure proper documentation and communication.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll and benefits laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and other required reports.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and update systems with changes in employment, salary, or benefits.

Employee Support:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for payroll and benefits-related questions and concerns.
  • Provide support during audits and prepare documentation as needed.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to address payroll and benefits issues.

Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and effective communication abilities.
