We are currently looking for a Continuous Improvement leader that is safety conscious and is willing to learn and grow with the organization. Listening and feedback skills to communicate with employees, peers, and others respectfully and effectively in the organization.

The Continuous Improvement Coordinator is responsible for leading all facets associated with driving continuous improvement efforts at the Uni-Form Components facility. The role's focus is to identify and improve the outcomes of manufacturing and operational processes to improve efficiencies, reduce cost, and increase customer satisfaction. The Continuous Improvement Coordinator will lead process improvement activities including identifying and quantifying opportunities, data analysis, project management, solution implementations, and sustained results. He/she will be successfully leveraging Lean Six Sigma tools and processes to drive productivity improvements while supporting all channels of business. This role will directly engage plant wide to implement solutions that improve company performance.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Implement and monitor 5S and Lean Daily Management per the organization's initiatives.
  • Directly facilitate and/or participate in ongoing process improvements through various Lean tools.
  • Conduct continuous improvement training.
  • Lead transformational kaizen events.
  • Monitor improvements continued success.
  • Be a change agent for cultural Lean shift.
  • Promote and adhere to Uniform Components' core values.
SKILLS/SPECIFICATIONS:
  • Ability to work with abstract and complex concepts as well as communicate them in an easy-to-understand format.
  • Experience utilizing root cause analysis techniques (fishbone diagram, Pareto charts, 5 Whys, etc.).
  • Ability to work in a team environment and lead through influence.
  • Work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Advanced listening, oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to write and provide simple and accurate instructions.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills to include Outlook, SharePoint, Word, and Excel.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree required; Industrial Engineering is preferred.
  • Lean accreditation/training is preferred.
  • Understanding of Lean Daily Management, 5S, and Visual Management.
  • 3+ years of experience leading continuous improvement initiatives in a process manufacturing environment.
  • Experience delivering continuous education and training.
