Description

SW North America delivers demanding, work piece-specific manufacturing systems for the metal working industry worldwide. Our most defining characteristic is our impressive range of 2- and 4- spindle horizontal machining centers. The Service Coordinator is responsible for, among other things, managing all customer and client relations, providing customer support to the service hotline, scheduling Service Technicians nationwide, and meeting with customers to discuss their service needs.

The Service Coordinator performs a variety of duties, including, but not limited to: ? Analyzing and resolving technical issues by phone, email, or online support ? Scheduling Service Technicians nationwide ? Maintaining consistent communication with customers and Service Technicians ? Checking service reports and creating invoices ? Meeting with customers to discuss service needs either at SWNA or onsite ? Acting as part of the SWNA 24/7 service team comprised of Germany, China, and the U.S. ? Complying with all safety rules and regulations ? All other duties as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications & Abilities ? Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field and/or relevant experience ? Technical understanding and ability to read and understand e-drawings, hydraulic and pneumatic drawings ? Customer service oriented ? German speaking ability preferred but not required ? A valid Driver's License ? Ability to read, write, and speak English Work Environment & Physical Requirements ? Primarily works in an office setting on a regular basis, with the potential to work in an industrial environment occasionally ? Requires ability to sit or stand for an extended period of time Classification & Compensation ? The position is full-time, permanent and non-exempt from FLSA overtime requirements ? The pay range varies, depending on experience, skills, abilities, and length of service with the company
