System Engineer - Monitoring Engineer. You will be involved in maintaining, operating, and innovating the firm's corporate infrastructure, ensuring they remain at the cutting edge of technology and service. You will need to work fully on-site for the first 3 months; after that work remotely 2 days/week. Responsibilities:

Managing and monitoring of existing systems and infrastructure.

Maintaining system documentation to include system reviews and recommendations.

Identifying potential issues and proactively proposing solutions and improvements.

Securing systems by establishing and enforcing policies and defining and monitoring access.

Fulfilling ad hoc tasks and projects as required by the Company.

Contributing to the definition and implementation of project best practices and quality processes.

Required skills and experience:

Strong experience in the information security/technology sector.

Proven experience with Azure, Azure DevOps and working within CI/CD pipelines.

Proven experience with REST API's.

Proven experience in incident management, service request management and troubleshooting using root cause analysis (RCA) techniques.

Experience with monitoring tools (Datadog or similar).

Ability to multitask and work under pressure.

Any of the following would be a plus:

Experience of using ticketing systems and use of monitoring and management tools.

Experience with cloud-based solutions around compute, storage, and network (Azure).

Experience with Agile methodology.

Scripting knowledge (Ansible, Bash, Python, Powershell).

ITIL certification.

Practical experience working in an RHEL environment.
