Job Summary

The Training Program Manager role is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and evaluation of training programs across Altice and the Optimum brand. This role focuses on creating and executing effective training programs aligned with adult learning principles and diverse learning techniques. Reporting to the Director of Training Programs, the Training Program Manager collaborates with stakeholders, instructional designers, and learning delivery specialists to ensure the content and delivery of training programs meet the organization's needs and objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Provide performance and training consultation with the business while recommending solutions for requests not requiring formal training
  • Build sustainable and scalable approaches to program/curricula creation, implementation, evaluation, and ongoing performance support
  • Stay close to changing business demands, address shifts in training needs and approaches, and anticipate the requirement of additional training programs
  • Understand skills required for front line and management roles, leverage training across multiple job families
  • Decrease time to productivity, and improve the learner experience by using best in class learning content, methods and technology
  • Use metrics and analytics tools and the Kirkpatrick model to evaluate program effectiveness using key performance metrics of learners
  • Apply a skills-based approach to training with skill identification, content development tied to skills, and skills aligned user experiences
  • Leverage generative AI to accelerate skills identification, learning content creation, and learning analytics
  • Identify, assess, and integrate emerging trends in learning and development, leveraging research-based insights to enhance employee training programs
  • Lead and guide design thinking sessions aimed at crafting pertinent training experiences
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5+ years in Learning & Development, focused on adult learning
  • Strong collaboration, communication, influence, and consulting skills
  • Strong leadership skills, focused on setting high expectations and creating a high accountability and ownership culture
  • Experience designing, developing, and delivering impactful learning experiences across multiple modalities that build essential capabilities for frontline employees.
  • Experience leveraging Agile, Lean, and Design Thinking methodologies to lead cross-functional groups to create impactful learner experiences
  • Experience in instructional design, program management, and learning needs assessment
  • Expertise in learning and program evaluation
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles, learning best practices, learning technology and innovation
  • Process oriented with a focus on execution, creating sustainable and scalable learning solutions
