Job description

Responsibilities:
  • Spearhead project kick-offs and assemble project teams to assess, refine, and clarify project scopes.
  • Direct projects from initial concepts to developmental phases, facilitating the transition to execution teams, typically around 30% into the project lifecycle.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects encompassing overhead transmission and substation projects spanning from 34.5kV to 500kV.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to grasp project interdependencies and establish a cohesive construction sequence for interconnected projects.
  • Maintain meticulous project finances, supported by a dedicated cost analyst team.
  • Uphold detailed project schedules, aided by a proficient project scheduling team.
  • Implement a standardized project management lifecycle process to ensure consistent project documentation and execution.
  • Utilize technical expertise to adeptly oversee projects in their early development stages.
  • Act as the primary point of contact with clients, managing client coordination, strategic planning, scope management, and budgeting efforts.
  • Provide comprehensive project management oversight from conceptualization through development, including tasks such as siting, environmental assessments, permitting, planning, estimating, engineering, right-of-way acquisition, project controls, procurement, constructability reviews, material management, and construction management.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in engineering or engineering technology (any discipline).
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant T&D experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities to drive project deliverables.
Additional Information:
  • Hours per Day/Week: 8/40.
  • Start Time/End Time: 8am-5pm.
  • Additional clearance may be needed for site or project: Client-specific background check will be required.
