About the Role

PRIME AE Group, a leading architectural and engineering firm, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer and Project Manager to join our team in Akron. As a key member of our structural engineering department, you will be responsible for managing projects and designing complex structural systems for various markets, including military, healthcare, and commercial facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Establish project scope, budget, schedule, and quality assurance for large-scale projects.
  • Structural Engineering: Perform and lead condition assessment projects, develop proposals, and create presentations for clients.
  • Design and Analysis: Conduct structural analysis and design using RAM Structural System and RAM Concept, and perform calculations and drawings in accordance with IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, and ACI standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure compliance with specifications and design during construction.
  • Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth and development of the structural engineering department.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in structural engineering, with a master's degree highly preferred.
  • Experience: 7-10 years of experience in structural engineering, with a strong background in project management and leadership.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Active and good standing professional engineering license, with Revit proficiency required.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage deadline-driven workloads and work on multiple projects.
