Compensation Administrator

POSITION SUMMARY
The main responsibility of the Compensation Administrator will be to plan, develop and oversee company compensation and benefits programs. He/she will be responsible for reviewing and proposing modifications to existing policies and procedures, ensuring these comply with current legislation, as aligned with the Compensation Corporate guidelines. This position will support the Talent Acquisition processes and manage day-to-day compensation and payroll tasks including HRIS-related activities.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
COMPENSATION
- Collaborate with the Corporate Compensation Manager to review, analyze, and make proposals on adjustments of salary structures and compensation packages.
- Review and ensure that local compensations policies and procedures are according to corporate guidelines.
- Conduct research and analysis from various sources involving salaries and benefits to keepupwith thelatest trends in compensation, such as compensation market trends.
- Collaborate with other HR functions, such as benefits, talent acquisition and compliance, to ensure understanding to overall compensation practices and guidelines.
- Partner with Corporate Compensation Manager and the Talent team to continuously propose and develop pay strategies to address workforce turnover issues such as retention, internal equity, entry levels, job grades valuation, among others, to keep market competitiveness.
- Advise managers on proposing effective pay decisions that support employee engagement and comply with compensation policy and budgetary guidelines.
- Review, evaluate and modify benefit policies and programs to ensure that they are updated, competitive and in compliance with legal requirements.
- Ensures that the company's compensation and benefits policies are in line with the relevant laws and legislation. Fulfill all reporting requirements of all relevant government rules and regulations.
- Manage salary structure and policy according to corporate compensations principles and methodologies, regarding Job Valuation, Job Grades, entry levels and Pay Positions principles.
- Ensure all Job Descriptions are developed in accordance with corporate standards.
- Alongside the Corporate Compensations Manager, conduct job values classifications when required.
- Conduct analysis and make recommendations on internal Job classifications.
- Develop and maintain an updated Job Map of organization current Jobs.
- Determine salary increase when promotions arise as required by the Talent team. Such adjustments should be in accordance with the salary policy and validated by the corporate manager.
- Communicate pay decisions, policy interpretations, and job evaluations to HR Business Partners and functional leaders.
- Ensure tax compliance, social security audits and any external audits for all US locations.
- Prepare and present weekly, monthly staffing KPI and related compensation reports.
- POC for Compensation issues as directed by Corporate Compensations Manager and US HR Director.
- Point of Contact for all payroll issues for all employees. Oversee his/her team to provide a support to staff with an exceptional internal customer service approach.
- Oversee and review all payroll changes, updates, and overtime of the payroll system, ensuring the accuracy of the information entered in by Payroll Coordinators across US locations.
- Maintain and ensure the accuracy of payroll records by maintaining payroll database for all multi-sites employees with updates in status changes, tax withholdings, benefit deductions, electronic and paper records in accordance with company policies.
- Arrange payment for all invoices of HR as per existing required procedures.
- Oversee and review the payroll for Contracted staff (including bonuses).
- Work closely with Finance to ensure that payroll actions and records are aligned with accounting policies and procedures.
- Oversee and validate that company's salaried and hourly payroll is processed in a timely, accurate and efficient manner while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and IRS payroll processing rules and regulations.
- Develop and control all tasks necessary to accomplish the organization's weekly time & attendance reconciliation, benefits, and payroll processing objectives.
- Oversee and validate that all weekly timesheets have been reconciled through the time & attendance operating procedures.
- Improve the effectiveness of HRIS through specific actions that exploitthe fullpotential of the platform.
- Responsible for the using, updating, and maintaining all employee's information within the HRIS including Contractors and third parties' employees.
- Manage the HRIS to provide consistent utilization and application of time management, benefits, payroll, onboarding and reporting configurations.
- Responsible for the coordination between payroll, HR, and Finance, to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data (including preparation/distribution of detailed reports, overtime, leave balances, head count, bonus calculations, etc.)

3. Weekly Time Sheet Reconciliation and Payroll Processing
4. LOA Approvals
Decisions that will require approval.
1. Renewals including Health Benefits, Supplemental Insurance & Providers, WC.
2. Any plan changes to 401k or UHC Benefits, or HRIS within the renewal period
3. Any changes to compensation other than directed by MROH HC
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Education, Finance, Associates, Business, Human Resources, Business/Administration, Technical, Administration, or any related field.
- English fluency. Spanish in Spanish is preferred.
- In-depth understanding of compensation and benefits programs.
- Experience using a payroll database and other HRIS.
- Exceptional understanding of job evaluation and job analysis tools and systems.
- Up to date knowledge of current trends and best practices in Compensation concerns.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle compensation-related tasks with discretion.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service by phone, email and in-person.
- Excellent attitude towards dealing with pay & reward queries at all levels.
- Ability to partner with business leadership and collaborate with multiple stakeholders within the organization.
- Analytical and time-management proficiency: managing priorities and working under tight deadlines.
- Cross-functional mindset and ability to collaborate with multi-location team.
- PHR or CCP certifications
- Knowledge for Human Resources operations and processes.
- Experience servicing multiple sites (various locations).
