**Responsibilities**:

- Opening new files and making the initial client contact and conbtunie contact with clients on a regular basis
- Organizing and maintaining case files and caseload requirements
- Prepping files to be submitted to demand writers
- Conduct claim investigation, legal research, and initial case assessments
- Verification of insurance coverage, and liability matters and maintain contact with insurance company
- Monitoring timelines, and billing for case completion
- Drafting legal documents and case summaries
- Reviewing documents, and medical records for compliance with strict legal requirements
- Gather relevant information from a variety of sources, including but not limited to, Lexis and Westlaw research
- Assist with case settlements by negotiating with insurance providers
- Manage the client’s medical care with the medical providers
- Address client case status inquiries, including steps in process remaining, processing times, and appointment issues
- Ensure compliance to all company Policies, Procedures, and expectations

Qualifications:

- Proven 2+ years working experience in **Workers Compensation** Field
- Proven 2+ years working experience as an insurance adjuster preferred
- Experience working and managing heavy caseload
- Familiarity with the rules of federal and state procedures
- Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules and procedures, practices, etc.
- Knowledge of MS Office and ability to work with legal technology & terminology
- Working knowledge of case management software
- Consistent record of attendance, reliability, and integrity
- Basic knowledge of medical and insurance terminology
- Strong sense of confidentiality and ability to exercise sound judgment
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously; self-motivated
- Outstanding time-management and typing skills
- Ability to work autonomously while highly focused and detailed-oriented with exceptional analytical skills
- Professional presentation in attire, demeanor, appearance, and compliance to company dress code
- Proficiency in English, Bilingual a Plus
