Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Specialist Marketing to join our dynamic team. This role requires an individual who can operate authoritatively, independently, and effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both agency and corporate settings, excellent project management and strategic skills, and superior communication and leadership abilities.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their communication challenges and business problems. Develop solutions that marry creative knowledge with client needs and advocate for these solutions throughout the creative process.
  • Project Management: Schedule and lead kickoff, concept, status, and other client meetings. Develop timelines, monitor schedules, update project statuses, and ensure projects are kept on track. Responsible for client estimates, budgets, billing, and quarterly financial sales goals and plans.
  • Creative Briefs and Client Advocacy: Write or ensure the creation of clear and effective creative briefs. Serve as the client advocate within the Creative Network, reviewing interim deliverables to ensure client approval.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Marketing Communications, Creative Services, Events, Digital, and other teams to align on campaign deliverables and ensure projects are completed on schedule. Initiate projects in review and approval systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Quality Control and Compliance: Implement quality control measures, proofread designed materials, archive projects, and ensure final certification of approved assets. Comply with FDA regulations, other regulatory requirements, and company policies.
  • Mentorship and Leadership: Lead, mentor, and train Traffic/Project Coordinators within the Creative Network. Tailor solutions to account needs and facilitate smoother connections with clients.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Communication or Marketing preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior-level account management role, preferably with a mix of agency and corporate experience.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership, project management, strategic, and analytical skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels within the organization.
    • Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
    • Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.
    • Strong organizational and follow-up skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
    • Proficient in using Office 365 applications and project management systems.
    • Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.
