Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment Support:
- Assist with the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
- Coordinate and participate in new hire orientation and onboarding processes.
- HR Administration:
- Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
- Assist in the administration of benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave management.
- Process payroll information, including timekeeping and attendance data.
- Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Assist in resolving employee issues and conflicts, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies.
- Support HR initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of HR-related reports, including turnover, absenteeism, and headcount analysis.
- Other Duties:
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team as needed.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives to enhance the overall HR function.
- 3+ years of experience in an HR role, preferably as an HR Assistant or Coordinator.
- Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
