Your Role:

Home Partners of America is looking for an experienced sales professional to join our team as a Business Development Representative. This role is responsible for sourcing new vendor partners through inbound inquiries as well as outbound sourcing. In addition, this role will be responsible for crafting an ideal vendor profile, collecting necessary documentation to serve as a HPA/Pathlight approved vendor, and complete new vendor onboardings.

What will you be doing?

Develop new vendor partnership opportunities by managing all stages of the sales cycle including managing inbound leads, developing outbound leads, and presenting compelling pitch for vendors to join the HPA/Pathlight vendor network Source high quality vendor partners and meet or exceed closing goals to drive company maintenance/turns projects needs Follow up on existing leads that have come from internal employee referrals, associations, conferences, inbound inquiries, etc. Develop a qualified pipeline of active vendor partners and ensure that all vendor opportunities meet minimal qualifications Close sales timely and with satisfactory volume to meet business objectives Onboard new vendor partners and conduct new vendor partner trainings to ensure vendor success in partnership with HPA/Pathlight

What we look for:

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree or equivalent 1-2 years experience as a business development representative or experience in a sales role (preferably in a fast-paced start up environment) Demonstrated track record of creating, negotiating, and closing deals to meet quarterly/ annual targets Excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills Demonstrated organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines

Preferred qualifications:

Fluency in Spanish is a plus Background in construction
