Purpose of Role

  • Responsible for accurate and timely financial records
Key duties and responsibilities
  • Assist in monthly closing process
  • Perform inventory cost analysis to assist manufacturing team
  • Assist with accounting for foreign currencies held by companies
  • Assist in preparation and filing of tax returns
  • Financial preparation and maintenance of subsidiary companies
  • Calculate and process grant draws
  • Clean monthly accounting data in Infor to ensure proper budget numbers
  • Assist in annual 1099s process
  • Assist in support of external financial audit
  • Other projects and duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent progress toward a Master's degree in Accounting
  • CPA or CMA is a plus
  • Master's degree in Accounting is a plus
  • Proficient at Excel
  • QuickBooks knowledge/experience a plus
  • INFOR knowledge/experience a plus
  • Extremely organized with high attention to detail
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Effective at prioritizing tasks
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
