Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process SOS Billings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and contractual agreements.
  • Generate and analyze BOI reports to provide insights into property income and financial performance.
  • Maintain and reconcile property accounting records, including general ledger entries, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring all financial data is accurately captured and reported.
  • Collaborate with property managers and other departments to gather necessary information and resolve discrepancies.
  • Monitor tenant account balances and follow up on overdue payments, coordinating with collections as needed.
  • Prepare financial statements and management reports for internal review and external stakeholders.
  • Support the annual budgeting process and assist in the preparation of forecasts and variance analyses.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
  • Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations to auditors.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in property accounting or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and property management accounting practices.
  • Experience with Yardi or other property management software.
  • Knowledge of SOS Billing and BOI reporting processes.
