Program Assistant II

Overview:

The Program Assistant II will assist in the development of programs, building systems and in the intake of membership registrations of participants for programs.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversees the collection of program statistical data and prepare reports when necessary.
  • Works with program staff in an administrative capacity to ensure that all aspects of program operations are implemented effectively.
  • Assists in the development and distribution of outreach materials for the facilities programs and will assist staff in maintaining the day to day operations of all facility programs.
  • Performs related work as required.
Minimum Entrance Qualifications:
  • At least three (3) years of fulltime, or equivalent part-time, experience in human services or related field of which one (1) year must have been in assisting in program administration.
  • Ability to perform light maintenance preferred.
  • Ability to type 30 wpm.
  • Computer knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and focus on detail as required by the job.
