Marketing Operations Manager

As the Marketing Operations Manager, you will be instrumental in driving our retail client's marketing strategy forward through meticulous planning, flawless execution, and rigorous optimization. Your primary focus will be on internal operations and project management, ensuring that all marketing activities across various channels, platforms, and regions are aligned with our brand's vision, values, and strategic goals. This is an exciting opportunity to partner with a global retail/footwear organization

*This is not a creative role, solely internal operations and marketing project management. This position is based onsite at their HQ in Boston. Mon-Thurs are onsite for team collaboration and Friday is remote.*

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership: Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of all marketing activities to achieve maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align marketing strategies with overall business objectives, fostering a collaborative environment for idea generation and execution.
  • Project Management: Drive projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Budget Allocation: Manage marketing budgets effectively, optimizing spend to achieve maximum ROI while adhering to financial guidelines.
  • Contract Management: Oversee contract negotiations and updates with external partners and vendors, ensuring favorable terms and conditions that support our business objectives.
  • Performance Analysis: Utilize data-driven insights to continuously optimize marketing campaigns and initiatives, improving performance metrics and driving business growth.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on marketing operations and deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing operations or business operations leadership roles.
  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to think strategically and translate strategies into actionable plans and initiatives.
  • Proactive and Collaborative: A proactive self-starter with strong collaborative skills, able to work effectively across teams and functions.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in using data to drive decision-making and optimize performance.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $48 to $53/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
